Open Classic

Louis brought his A game and had an advantage against Steve! In a tough battle it fizzled out to an opposite coloured bishops ending where Steve was able to hold a draw.

Brendan has taken a strong position as the sole leader on 3/3. He played a very strong game against Greg, gaining the exchange early and able to hold it into the endgame.

Division I Classic

Lots of tension coming into the final two weeks with 3 players on 2.5/3 and Jordan having to play both Hai and Joerg!

Doeberl Cup 2025

This is one of Australia’s biggest tournaments of the year held in Canberra. It’s a great opportunity for many players to get classic games outside of the WCC. This takes place over the Easter long weekend.
