Freestyle 960 Tournament

When: 31st of March 7pm-10pm

Registration: No later than 6:50pm. If you register after that you will miss round 1 but can play from round 2. Half point byes are available for two rounds per tournament besides the last two rounds.

Location: Wollongong Collegians Auditorium (3A Charlotte Street)

Cost: $5 each week

Time Control: 10+5

Number of Rounds: 4 rounds

Freestyle 960 chess is a variant in which the pieces on the 1st and 8th ranks are shuffled. This means opening preparation is less of a factor. The rules of the game are the same but there is a slightly different application regarding castling. This will be explained in further detail before round 1. Any questions regarding this can be asked of the committee.

Casual Rapid

When: Every Tuesday 6pm-7pm. Games must begin before 6:30pm.

Location: Wollongong Collegians Auditorium (3A Charlotte Street)

Cost: Free entry

Time Control: 10+5
