Holiday Rapid Tournament

Our Holiday Rapid Tournament attracted six junior to the club. One of these juniors was visiting from Sydney to attend the junior tournament and stayed to play on the first night. It is great to get juniors involved in adult chess clubs.

The full results are listed below. Congratulations to Joerg and Chayne for winning the tournament on 7/8. Chayne lost only to Joerg and Joerg lost only to third place, Martin.

With 34 players across the two weeks this is the largest tournament of the year and the club is growing as winter approaches. It is a great place to keep warm and see friends.

Autumn Rapid

We are playing another rapid tournament now. We had three rounds last week and another three this coming week. It is not too late to join in. On the back of winning the holiday rapid, Chayne is leading this tournament too with three players only half a point behind him.
